No. 2 Wooster ends Midview Baseball's season in District Semifinal

No. 32 Midview Varsity Baseball had it season come to a close with a 10-0 loss to host No. 2 Wooster High School in the OHSAA Division III District Semifinal on Tuesday (May 27) evening.

The Middies (10-15) managed just two hits against the Generals (23-4). Senior Camden Scott led off the game with a single, while sophomore Luke Jockel added a one-out single in the third.

Senior Cody Martin (1-1) got the start on the mound and suffered the loss after allowing four runs (three earned) on one hit with five walks and three strikeouts over three innings. Junior Damien Presser threw the next two frames and was charged with three runs on two hits with five walks and one strikeout. Senior Henry Calcut threw the sixth, giving up three runs on three hits in two-thirds of an inning before the rule-run was enforced.
