No. 32 Baseball to play at No. 2 Wooster in OHSAA District Semifinal on May 27

What: OHSAA Division III Baseball Northeast 3 District Semifinal

Who: No. 32 Midview High School (10-14) at No. 2 Wooster High School (22-4)

When: Tuesday (May 27) at 5 p.m.

Where: Wooster High School's Baseball Field (851 Oldman Rd. Wooster, OH 44691)

Tickets: Tickets are $8 for Adults and $5 for Students and sold online at http://ohsaa.org/tickets. Children under 5 are admitted free. Cash and Credit Card sales available on site.

What's at Stake: The winner of Midview and Wooster will play either No. 7 Alliance High School or No. 14 Uniontown Lake High School for the District Championship at Thurmon Munson Stadium in Canton on Thursday (May 29) at 5 p.m.

About the Generals: Wooster has won the Ohio Cardinal Conference four of the last five seasons and has made it to regional play both of the last two springs.

Last Meeting: No meeting on record (since 2014-15) between these two schools. They were slated to play each other a few times recently but rained forced the cancellation.

How They Got Here: Wooster rolled to a 21-0 victory over No. 46 Cleveland JFK High School on May 22, while Midview knocked off No. 34 Olmsted Falls High School 7-3 on May 24. [Recap]
