Midview Boys Wrestling to Compete in OHSAA Districts at Perrysburg

What: OHSAA Division I Wrestling Northwest District Tournament

Who: The top 4 placers from the Avon Lake, Clay, St. Edward and Strongsville Sectional Tournaments

When: Friday (March 1) at 4:30 p.m. and Saturday (March 2) at 9 a.m.

Where: Perrysburg High School (13385 Roachton Road Perrysburg, OH 43551)

Tickets: Tickets are $8 for Adults and $5 for Students and ahead of time online at http://ohsaa.org/tickets. [Wrestling --> Division I --> Perrysburg] or at the door.

Midview Qualifiers: Carrson Morris (120 - 4th Place), Gage Baribeau (138 - 4th Place), Hunter Anderson (150 - 1st Place), Gabriel Borror (165 - 1st Place), Nathanial Shenberger (190 - 4th Place) and Austin Dye (285 - 1st Place) all advanced to the District Tournament based on their success at the February 24 Avon Lake Sectional.

Midview Alternates: Gatlin Hassler (126 - 5th Place) and Aaron Cole (144 - 5th Place) will all await a possible invite into the District Tournament should a qualifier not make it.

What's at Stake: The top four finishers in each of the 14 weight classes will advance to the OHSAA State Tournament March 8-10 at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus.

Spectator Note: Spectators will not have access to the parking lot until after students are released from school and the parking lot is cleared at 3:50 p.m. Doors will open at 4 p.m.
