Brunswick downs Girls Basketball 58-47

Midview Girls Basketball capped off its three-game, season-opening home stand with a 58-47 loss to visiting Brunswick High School Monday (December 2) evening on Troy DiFranco Court inside Kubuski Gymnasium.

Junior Leah DiFranco continued her hot start by pouring in 26 points while adding 13 rebounds, 3 steals and 4 assists. Classmate Hunter Crum connected on a pair of three-pointers to add 8 points to go along with 7 rebounds in the loss.

Adalya Collenette lead the Blue Devils with a career-best 30 points, while Grace Willkom had 12 in the win.

The Middies (1-2) turn their attention to Southwestern Conference play with a road trip to Elyria High School on Wednesday (December 4). Action begins with the JV match-up at 5:45 p.m.
