Midview Girls Basketball to play Brunswick for District Championship on Friday

What: OHSAA Division I Girls Basketball Northeast 4 District Final

Who: No. 4 Midview High School (20-4) vs. No. 3 Brunswick High School (19-5)

When: Friday (February 24) at 7 p.m.

Where: Valley Forge High School (9999 Independence Blvd., Parma Heights, OH 44130)

Tickets: Tickets are $8 for Adults and $6 for Students and sold exclusively online at http://ohsaa.org/tickets. [Basketball --> Girls Basketball -->Division I --> Region 1 --> Northeast 4] Children under 5 are admitted free. No tickets sold at the door.

What's at Stake: The winner advances to the OHSAA Regional Semifinal at Medina High School on Tuesday (February 28) at 8 p.m. The opponent will be the Northeast 2 District champion either Green High School or Archbishop Hoban.

Last Meeting: Midview defeated host Brunswick 47-31 during the 2023-23 regular season on February 6.

Student Fan Bus: Midview High School students were emailed an opportunty to get free transportation to the game. They must RSVP via the Google Form and return the permission slip to the main office by Thursday at 3 PM.

History at Work: Midview Girls Basketball has now won a school-record 20 games in 2022-23. The Middies are in search of their first ever District Championship. They previously made the finals in 1976 and 1979.
