Midview Track and Field ends season at OHSAA Division II Championship

Midview Varsity Track and Field had its season come to an end with a pair of OHSAA Division II Championship performances Saturday (June 6) afternoon on the campus of The Ohio State University. 

Senior Isabel Geyer just missed the podium by placing ninth in the Shot Put. Geyer's best throw was her third, which traveled 38-09.50 and secured her the final spot of the finals. Unfortunatey, she was unable to move up the standings over her final three attempts.

Junior Jeffrey Wirth finished 12th in the Discus Throw. He opened with a toss of 154-04 but fouled on his next two attempts and came up seven feet short of the finals.
