Midview Track and Field ends season at Regional Championship

Midview Varsity Track and Field closed out its 2025 season at the May 28 and May 30 OHSAA Division I Regional Championship, hosted by Port Clinton High School.

The Middies had ten student-athletes participate in seven events at the penultimate event. Unfortunately, none of the advanced out of the prelims.

Senior Logan Bier and senior Nolan Roth finished 11th (15.87) and 12th (15.87), respectively, in the 110m Hurdle prelims. Bier also placed 15th (42.49) in the 300m Hurdle prelims.

Sophomore Cora Vance took 10th (26.26) in the 200m Dash prelims.

Senior Sigurd Hansen tied for 13th (20-1) in the Long Jump. He was also slated to compete in the High Jump but scratched due to a family vacation.

Sophomore Jeffrey Wirth placed 15th (44-3.25) in the Shot Put.

Freshman Hannah Bacskay, sophomore Ava Hamm, sophomore Leah McKay and Vance took 10th (50.54) in the 4x100m prelims.

Freshman Molly OckulyBacskay, freshman Leila Morgan and Vance placed 10th (4:06.45) in the 4x400m prelims.
