Midview Football suffer 31-14 season-ending loss at Padua

Midview Varsity Football had its 2024 season come to end with a 31-14 Week 11 loss at Padua Franciscan High School Friday (November 1) evening.

The No. 7 Bruins jumped out to a 10-0 lead before the No. 10 Middies got on the board with a two-yard TD run by junior Marcus McMahon and an extra point by senior Ethan Morris in the final minute of the half.

The teams traded touchdowns in the third quarter. Midview's once again came on the legs of McMahon from two yards away. Morris added the extra point and the Middies headed to the final quarter down 17-14. The Bruins, however, scored the final 14 points of the game and advanced in the OHSAA Division III playoffs with the victory.
