Midview Football defeats North Olmsted 14-0
Midview Varsity Football relied on its defense and a few big plays to shutout visiting North Olmsted High School 14-0 Friday (August 30) on Ross Field at Adelsberg Stadium. [Box Score]
Senior Dior Jones broke open a scoreless game with a 69-yard punt return for a touchdown midway through the third quarter. Senior Cameron West added a three-yard rushing TD with 3:10 to play in the game. Senior Ethan Morris connected on both extra points.
Junior Brayden Homoki collected a team-high 19 total tackles. Overall, Midview out-gained North Olmsted 306-213, including 265-90 on the ground.
The Middies (2-0) are back in action September 6 when the visit Elyria Catholic High School at 7 p.m.
