Midview hosts Avon for Senior Night match-up in Week 9

Who: Midview High School (2-6, 1-4 SWC) and Avon High School (7-1, 5-0 SWC)

What: Week 9 OHSAA Division II Region VI Southwestern Conference Varsity Football Game

Where: Ross Field at Adeslberg Stadium (38199 Capel Road, Grafton, OH 44044)

When: Kickoff is Friday (September 30) at 7 p.m. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

Tickets: All Tickets are General Admission and $7. Everyone Kindergarten age or older must have a ticket in order to enter. Presale Tickets are available here: https://midview.hometownticketing.com/embed/all A credit card reader will also be available at both the Pass Gate and the Middle School entrance for walk-up tickets. No cash sales at the door. In addition, Midview Local School and Avon Local School employee IDs and SWC passes will be accepted.

Specator Note: All kids in attendance will be expected to sit in the stands with their parents or in the assigned student sections. Spectators are prohibited from bringing sporting equipment (footballs, basketballs, etc.) inside Adelsberg Stadium during Varsity Football Games. They will be turned away at the gate. Alcohol and Smoking are also prohibited on the campus of Midview Local Schools.

Special Events: Friday is Senior Night at Midview for Cheerleading, Cross Country, Football, Golf and Marching Band. We will recoginze almost 80 individuals beginning at 6:30 p.m. Senior honorees and their approved escorts are admitted free.

Concessions: The Midview Band Boosters will once again sponsor all concessions during Midview Varsity Football home games. The accept cash only.

Halftime Performance: The Avon High School Marching Band will perform first, followed by the Midview High School Marching Blue.

Last Meeting: Host Avon defeated Midview 55-7 in Week 8 of the 2021 season on October 8.

2021 Records: Midview finished 3-7 overall and 3-4 in the Southwestern Conference, while Avon went 12-3 overall and 6-1 in the SWC. The Eagles advanced to the OHSAA Division II State Semifinals before falling to Hoban 31-24.

Last Game: Midview fell 24-7 at North Ridgeville, while Avon defeated vistiting Berea-Midpark 35-7 on October 7.
