Midview opens SWC play at Olmsted Falls in Week 4

Who: Midview High School (1-2, 0-0 SWC) and Olmsted Falls High School (2-1, 0-0 SWC)

What: Week 4 OHSAA Division II Region VI and Southwestern Conference Varsity Football Game

Where: Vitamix Field at Charles Harding Memorial Stadium (26939 Bagley Road, Olmsted Falls, OH 44138)

When: Kickoff is Friday (September 9) at 7 p.m. Gates open at 6 p.m.

There will also be cash sales at the door. In addition, Midview Local Schools employee IDs and SWC passes will be accepted.

Halftime Performance: The Midview High School Marching Blue will perform first, followed by the Olmsted Falls High School Marching Band.

Last Meeting: Olmsted Falls defeated host Midview 14-9 in Week 4 of the 2021 season on September 10.

2021 Records: Midview finished 3-7 overall and 3-4 in the Southwestern Conference, while Olmsted Falls went 10-3 overall and 6-1 in the SWC. The Bulldogs advanced to the OHSAA Division II Regional Semifinal where they fell to Avon 49-21.

Last Game: Midview is looking to bounce back from two-straight losses, including a 35-15 defeat at Elyria Catholic in week 3, while Olmsted Falls is seeking its third straight win after defeating visiting Norwalk 49-6 in week 3.

Next Week: Midview continues SWC play by hosting Amherst Steele High School, while Olmsted Falls visits foe SWC fNorth Ridgeville High School on September 16. It will be both Mini Cheer Night and Youth Football Night at Adelsberg Stadium.
