Midview to visit Elyria Catholic in Week 3

Who: Midview High School (1-1, 0-0 SWC) and Elyria Catholic High School (1-1, 0-0 GLC)

What: Week 3 OHSAA Non-Conference Varsity Football Game

Where: Dan Reaser Stadium (725 Gulf Rd. Elyria, OH 44035)

When: Kickoff is Friday (September 2) at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Parking/Entrance/Seating: See the map below for where to park, enter and sit. They have a bleacher issue so things are not quite normal there.

Halftime Performance: The Midview High School Marching Blue will perform first, followed by the Elyria Catholic High School Marching Band.

Last Meeting: Elyria Catholic defeated host Midview 42-37 in Week 3 of the 2021 season on September 3.

2021 Records: Midview finished 3-7 overall and 3-4 in the Southwestern Conference, while Elyria Catholic went 11-3 overall and 3-1 in the Great Lakes Conference West Division. The Panthers advanced to the OHSAA Division V Regional Final where they fell to Ottawa-Glandorf 31-6.

Last Game: Both teams are looking to bounce back from Week 2 losses. Midview fell at home to Strongsville High School 35-27, while Elyria Catholic fell to host Perkins High School 42-41 in overtime on August 26.
