Midview hosts Rocky River in 2022 Season Opener

Who: Midview High School and Rocky River High School

What: Week 1 OHSAA Non-Conference Varsity Football Game

Where: Ross Field at Adelsberg Stadium (38199 Capel Road, Grafton, OH 44044)

When: Kickoff is Friday (August 19) at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Tickets: All Tickets are General Admission and $7. Everyone Kindergarten age or older must have a ticket in order to enter. Presale Tickets are available here: https://midview.hometownticketing.com/embed/all A credit card reader will also be available at both the Pass Gate and the Middle School entrance for walk-up tickets. No cash sales at the door.

Specator Note: All kids in attendance will be expected to sit in the stands with their parents or in the assigned student sections. Spectators are prohibited from bringing sporting equipment (footballs, basketballs, etc.) inside Adelsberg Stadium during Varsity Football Games. They will be turned away at the gate. Alcohol and Smoking are also prohibited on the campus of Midview Local Schools.

Season Passes: Midview fans are encourage to purchase either Year-Long Season Passes or Individual Season Passes prior to attending. These are sold exclusively online. Concessions: The Midview Band Boosters will once again sponsor all concessions during Midview Varsity Football home games.

Haltime Performance: The Rocky River High School Marching Band will perform first, followed by the Midview High School Marching Blue.

Last Meeting: Rocky River defeated visting Midview 56-24 in last year's season opener on August 20, 2021.

2021 Records: Midview finished 3-7 overall and 3-4 in the Southwestern Conference, while Rocky River went 8-5 overall and 3-3 in the Great Lakes Conference. The Pirates advance to the third round of the OHSAA Division III Playoffs where they lost to state runner-up West Holmes 51-28.
