Rangers defeat Midview Baseball 12-2 for second straight day

Midview Varsity Baseball dropped its second game of the Southwestern Conference series to North Ridgeville High School by the score of 12-2 on Tuesday (April 14) evening. It was the same final result as the previous day's game.

Senior starter Damien Presser (1-1) took the loss after allowing six runs (four earned) on three hits with two walks, two hit batters and five strikeouts over four innings. Classmate Brayden Widenmeyer allowed six runs (three earned) on two hits with two walks and three hit batters over the final two-thirds of an inning.

Junior Benjamin Szczepanski delivered a two-run single in the top of the fifth to account for the team's lone runs. It was also one of the Middies' three hits on the day.

Midview (1-4, 1-4 SWC) will take a break from league play when it visits Lorain High School on Wednesday (April 15) at 4:45 p.m. The game will take place at the Pipe Yard.
