Avon Lake routs Varsity Baseball 10-2

Midview Varsity Baseball dropped a 10-2 Southwestern Conference game to visiting Avon Lake High School on Wednesday (April 9) afternoon.

The Middies jumped out a 1-0 advantage when senior Camden Scott walked and later scored on a RBI groundout by junior Kaiden Vogelpohl. The Shoremen answered with a run in the second and third innings before breaking the game open with a six-run fourth frame. 

Senior Noah Munshower had two of the squad's five hits. Munshower (0-2) also took the loss on the mound after giving up four runs (three earned) on two hits with four walks and six strikeouts over three innngs.

Midview returns to action Thursday (April 10) at home agianst Independence High School at 5 p.m.
