Midview Baseball to face Avon in OHSAA District Semifinal Tuesday at Baldwin Wallace

What: OHSAA Division I Baseball District Semifinal

Who: No. 10 Midview High School vs. No. 16 Avon High School

When: Tuesday (May 21) at 1 p.m. (Note - Time Changed Due to Avon's Graduation)

Where: Baldwin Wallace University's Fisher Field (275 Eastland Rd., Berea, OH, 440174)

Tickets: Tickets are $8 for Adults and $5 for Students and sold exclusively online at http://ohsaa.org/tickets. Children under 5 are admitted free. No Cash Sales at the event.

What's at Stake: The winner will play the winner of No. 1 North Royalton High School and No. 14 Amherst Steele High School in the OHSAA District Final at Baldwin Wallace on May 23 at 5 p.m.

How We Got Here: Midview knocked off No. 18 Wadsworth High School 2-0, while Avon defeated No. 3 North Ridgeville High School 2-0 in its respective OHSAA Sectional Final on May 16.

Last Meetings: Midview swept the season series in 2024. Game one was played over a three-day period (day one was suspended by darkness and day two was rained out) and ended with the Middies winning 7-6 in 12 innings. Midview then captured game two 13-3 on the same day game one was completed.

Spectator Gate: All Spectators will enter through the gate on the first base side of the field.

Restrooms: Restrooms are located in the building adjacent to the field.

Spectator Parking: Please enter the spectator lot off Eastland Rd.  Additional parking is available at Strosacker Hall (Tressel St.) if the lot at Fisher Field is full.  Entrance adjacent to Constitution Hall off Tressel St. and the roadway around the building between the field and dorm will be closed.
