Midview Girls Take 5th and Boys Place 9th at Berea Cross Country Invitational

Midview Cross Country raced at the Berea-Midpark High School Invitational Saturday (August 23) morning at Berea-Midpark Middle School. The Middies girls took advantage of a full lineup and placed fifth (110 points), while the boys took 9th (230 points) at the 10-team race.

Sophomore Molly Ockuly paced the girls by finishing sixth with a 5k time of 21:14.3. Sophomore Hannah Bacskay followed in 15th (23:04.59), sophomore Sophia Morgan was 27th (24:33.93) and junior Alison Winslow finished 27th (24:42.04).

Sophomore Hayden Maxwell was the top boy's finisher as he placed 20th with a time of 18:00.13. Freshman Andrew Downey took 43rd (19:13.85), sophomore Bryce Jamison was 46th (19:17.93) and junior Cayden Coker finished 76th (20:37.61). 

The Middies' next race is the Ashland Invitatonal on Saturday (August 30) at Freer Field.
