Midview Cross Country takes 8th at Patriot Invitational

Midview Varsity Boys Cross Counry picked up its season following a week off by taking 8th place at the Valley Forge High School Patriot Invitational Saturday (September 21) morning.

Senior Lucas Edgell led the way by finishing 10th in the 5K race with a time of 18:10.07. Junior Samuel Estes followed in 21st place (18:55.2), freshman Hayden Maxwell was 37th (19:54.5), junior Christopher Payne placed 42nd (20:09.4) and freshman Noah Brady finished 59th (21:07.3).

The Middie girls only had a single runner compete. Sophomore Madelyn Czellath completed the course in 25:46.6.

Midview visits Vermilion High School for the Obenour Invitational on September 28.
