Cross Country runs at Bruce Lerch Invitational

Midview Cross Country competed at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School's Bruce Lerch Invitaional on Saturday (September 7) morning. The Middie Boys placed 14th, while the Girls ran as individuals. [Results]

Senior Lucas Edgell led the squad with a 46th place finish (18:44.2). Junior Samuel Estes placed 55th (19:15.0), freshmen Hayden Maxwell was 89th (21:05.1), junior Christopher Payne took 98th (21:50.6), senior Silas Carr finished 99th (21:58.7), senior Hayden Winslow was 100th (22:05.3) and sophomore Logan Edgell placed 108th (22:55.1) at the 19-team event.

Freshmen Hannah Bacskay paced the Girls with a 76th place finish (24:36.2). Sophomore Alison Winslow finished 81st (24:59.4). Sophomore Madelyn Czellath was 90th (25:51.2). Junior Aubrey Lehota placed 128th (31:25.9) at the event.

Midview is back in action September 21 when it competes at the Valley Forge High School Patriot Invitational at Hillside Middle School.
