Boys Cross Country takes sixth at Berea-Midpark Invitational

Midview Cross Country raced at the Berea-Midpark Invitational Saturday (August 24) morning at Berea-Midpark Middle School.

The Middie Boys placed sixth of nine teams at the event. The Girls only had four runners and did not score as a team.

Senior Lucas Edgell was the top finisher. He took fifth with a time of 17:46.79. Junior Samuel Estes placed 13th with a time 18:44.87. Freshmen Hayden Maxwell placed 36th (19:59.00), junior Christopher Payne was 38th (20:17.51), junior Hayden Winslow finished 47th (20:53.94) and sophomore Logan Edgell was 52nd (21:18.303)

Freshman Molly Ockuly led the Girls with a 7th place finish. She ran the 5K in 20:50.37. Freshman Hannah Bacskay placed 21st (23:20.33), sophomore Madelyn Czellath was 40th (25:36.72) and junior Aubrey Lehota took 75th (29:33.66).

Midview is back on the course Saturday (August 31) when it competes at the Ashland Invitational.
