Cross Country Opens Season at Keystone Icebreaker

The Midview High School Cross Country program began its season at the annual Keystone Icebreaker, which took place Monday (August 19) at the Lorain County Equestrian Center. The Middie boys finished 11th, while the girls did not have enough runners to earn a team score. [Complete Results]

Senior Lucas Edgell was the boy's top finisher. He placed 26th with a time of 18:01.96. Sophomore Alison Winslow led the girl's team with a 42nd place finish by posting a time of 23:49.86.

Midview is back in action Saturday (August 23) at the Berea-Midpark Invitational at Berea-Midpark Middle School. Racing begins at 9:30 a.m.
