Girls Wrestling Falls to Avon Lake

Midview Varsity Girls Wresrling competed in its first ever Southwestern Conference Dual Wednesday (December 18) at Avon Lake High School. The six active Middies battled the veteran Shoregals but ultimately fell 48-3.

Senior Emily Eakins made the most of her season debut with a 9-7 victory at 170 pounds to earn Midview's lone victory. The rest of the Middies were pinned.

Midview returns to tournament format with the Vermilion High School Duals on Sunday (December 22). Action begins at 10 a.m.
