Girls Wrestlers compete at Clyde Invitational

Midview Varsity Girls Wrestling opened its second season of action Sunday (December 15) at the Clyde Invitational.

The Middies had five of its seven student-athletes compete in the bracket event and finished tied for 31st out of 55 teams with 26 points.

Sophomore Skye Price was the team's top placer as she went 2-2 and took fourth in the 110 pound weight class. Sophomore Olivia Kirkpatrick (145 pounds) and junior Anna Baker (190 pounds) picked up their first interscholastic wrestling victory at the tournament.

Midview will return to action Wednesday (December 18) when it visits Avon Lake High School at 6:30 p.m.
