Girls Volleyball drops 3-1 match to Amherst Steele

Midview Varsity Girls Volleyball opened Southwestern Conference play with a 3-1 loss to visiting Amherst Steele High School Tuesday (August 20) evening inside Kubuski Gymnasium.

The Comets took set one 25-26. The Middies tied the match with a 25-22 win in set two. Amherst rallied to take set three 25-20 and then used that momentum to win set four 25-7.

The Middies (0-2, 0-1) are back in action Thursday (August 22) when they play a JV/Varsity doubleheader at Avon Lake High School. Action begins at 5 p.m.
