Midview to host Olmsted Falls in Volley For the Cure Match on Thursday

Midview High School Volleyball will play host to Olmsted Falls High School in a Southwestern Conference tripleheader match-up on Thursday (September 14) inside Kubuski Gymnasium. Action begins with the Freshmen at 4:30 p.m. Junior Varsity and Varsity will follow. While the Middies and Bulldogs will focus on their first of two league match-ups this season, Thursday will take on special meaning as a Volley for the Cure match.

Traditionally Midview's Volley for the Cure match raises funds for the Susan G. Komen's Breast Cancer Foundation. However, this year's focus has shifted to Head Coach Kate Kasper and her battle with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. All proceeds from the 50/50 Raffle, Raffle Baskets and Bake Sale will be donated directly to Coach Kate as she battles this cancer. Fans are encouraged to wear Purple (Violet), the designated color of Hodgkin's Lymphoma, to help us send a message to Coach Kate that No One Fights Alone!

Tickets for the match are $6 general admission. Everyone Kindergarten age to 59 years of age must have a ticket in order to enter. Senior Citizens (60+) are also now admitted free regardless of where they live. Presale Tickets are available here: https://midview.hometownticketing.com/embed/all. A credit card reader will also be available for walk-up tickets. In addition, Midview Local School and Olmsted Falls High School employee IDs and SWC passes will be accepted.
