Midview Volleyball Summer Youth League Returns in 2023

Midview High School Head Volleyball Coach Kate Kasper is excited to bring back the program's seven-week Summer Youth League again in 2023. [Registration Site • League Flyer (PDF)]

The league, now in its second year, is open to any student in the area entering grades 1-6 and will run on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings inside Kubuski Gymnasium from June 7-July 23. Wednesday sessions will be from 5-6:30 p.m. Sunday sessions will take place from 9:30-11 a.m.

Registration is $135 and will take place online via Midview's LeagueApps Page Click on the "Leagues" tab and Select "2023 Midview Volleyball Summer League" to register. Registration, which ends June 1, includes 2 practice shirts, water bottle, 14 practice sessions, and end of season picnic.

Participants will be split up by grade and will form grade level teams. Practice sessions will be designed to teach basic volleyball skills to players of all skill levels. Participants will train like a Midview volleyball player and learn how to pass, set, hit and serve. They will also learn basic offense and defense, court positioning and team strategy while putting an emphases on the importance of teamwork.

The season will conclude with an end of season tournament and picnic on July 23.
