Midview Girls Tennis concludes season at OHSAA Sectionals

Midview Varsity Girls Tennis wrapped up its 2025 campaign on the first day of the OHSAA Division I Sectional Tournament Tuesday (September 30) at Medina High School.

Senior Morgan Piskunoff teamed with junior Leah Vasarab to win their doubles opener 6-0, 6-1 against Cleveland John F. Kennedy High School. The duo was then eliminated in straight sets by Gilmour Academy. Junior Danica Hazzard and sophomore Abigail Klooz also advanced to the second round by defeating Fairview High School 7-6, 6-1. The Middies then fell 6-0, 6-4 to Elyria Catholic High School.

Senior Sarah Watkins dropped her singles opener 6-7 (5-7), 6-2, 1-0 (10-5) to Fairview High School, and senior Brynn Wuensch also lost her first singles match 6-3, 6-2 to Geneva High School.
