Midview Girls Tennis opens season with 5-0 win over North Olmsted

Midview Varsity Girls Tennis began the 2025 season with an impressive 5-0 victory over visiting North Olmsted High School on Friday (August 8).

Junior Jillian Hubbard rallied for a 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 victory at first singles. Junior Danica Hazzard won 6-1, 6-1 at second singles, while senior Brynn Wuensch won 6-1, 6-2 at third singles. In addition, senior Madison Piskunoff and junior Leah Vasarab earned a 7-6 (7-4) 6-2 win at first doubles, and senior Morgan Piskunoff and sophomore Abigail Klooz defeated their second doubles opponent 6-3, 6-4 to secure the sweep.

The Middies (1-0) are back in action Saturday (August 9) when they compete in the Norwalk Invitational.
