Girls Tennis knocks off Avon B 3-2

Midview Varsity Girls Tennis improved to 7-7 on the year with a 3-2 victory over visiting Avon High School's B squad Wednesday (September 18) afternoon.

Senior Katarina Yates moved to 23-0 with a straight set win at First Singles. The First Doubles tandem of sophomores Danica Hazzard and Leah Vasarab won 6-2. 6-3. Sophomore Hailey Doyle-O'Dea and junior Julianne Myers sealed the win with a 7-6 (7-1), 2-6, 11-9 victory at Second Doubles.

The Middies close out the regular season with a home match against Our Lady of the Elms Thursday (September 19). Action begins at 4:30 p.m.
