Varsity Girls Tennis sweeps North Olmsted in season opener

Midview Varsity Girls Tennis opened its 2024 season with a 5-0 sweep of host North Olmsted High School on Friday (August 9).

The Middies swept all five matches in straight sets. Senior Katarina Yates won at first singles, sophomore Jillian Hubbard won at second singles and junior Brynn Wuensch won at third singles. Sophomores Hailey Doyle-O'Dea and Danica Hazzard won at first doubles and junior Morgan Piskunoff and sophomore Lilah Campbell won at second doubles.

The Middies are back in action Saturday (August 10) when they compete at the Norwalk Invitational.
