Girls Soccer drops season opener to Saint Joseph 2-0

Midview Varsity Girls Soccer opened its 2024 campaign with a 2-0 loss to visiting Saint Joseph Academy Monday (August 19) on Ross Field at Adelsberg Stadium.

The Middies and the Jaguars were locked in a scoreless tie at the half. Saint Joseph, however, took the lead with a goal just 42 seconds into the second half and then added another on a corner kick with 34:34 to play in the game.

Midview (0-1) is back in action Wednesday (August 21) when it plays host to Columbia High School at 7 p.m. The junior varsity will play Eastlake North High School at 5 p.m.
