Midview Boys Wrestling places 8th at SWC Tournament
Midview Varsity Boys Wrestling took eighth place at the 2026 Southwestern Conference Boys Wrestling Tournament. The eight-team league event was hosted inside Kubuski Gymnasium.
Senior Carrson Morris won the 126-pound bracket to become a back-to-back SWC Champion. His 14-3 championship win over Amherst Steele also gave him 100 career wins.
Sophomore Owen Costlow placed fourth at 132 pounds after finishing the day 2-2. Senior Braden Lehman took fourth at 165 pounds with a 2-3 record. Senior Mateo Rodriguez placed fourth at 190 pounds after a 1-2 effort on Saturday.
The Middies are back in action when they compete in the OHSAA Division I Sectional Tournament at St. Edward High School on February 28.
