Elyria defeats Midview Boys Wrestling

Midview Varsity Boys Wrestling dropped a 52-21 Southwestern Conference match-up to visiting Elyria High School Thursday (January 22) on Troy DiFranco Court inside Kubuski Gymnasium.

Senior Carrson Morris earned a second period pin at 132, while senior Braden Lehman won 14-8 at 165 pounds. Junior Dylan Rendon (190) and senior Mateo Rodriguez (215) also earned forfeit wins.

Following the match, Lehman was named the 2026 Dominic Zunis Memorial Most Vaulable Wrestler.

The Middies (3-10, 0-4 SWC) are slated to compete in the West Holmes Invitational on Saturday (January 24) at 10 a.m.
