Midview Boys Wrestling eliminated after first day of Maumee Bay Invitational

Midview Varsity Boys Wrestling entered seven student-athletes into the prestigious 59-team Maumee Bay Invitational, hosted by Oregon Cay High School on Friday (January 16). Unfortunately, none of the Middies advanced to day two of the competition.

Senior Carrson Morris went 2-2 at 126 pounds. Junior Kameron Shaw was the only other Midview wrestler to earn a win as he did so with a pin in the 150 pound consolation opener.

The Middies are back in action Thursday (January 22) when they play host to Elyria High School in a Southwestern Conference dual at 6:30 p.m. This will be its annual Dominic Zunis Memorial Dual.
