Middies take 4th at Euclid Sectional; 7 advance to Hoover District

Midview Varsity Boys Wrestling earned a fourth place finish and earned seven district qualifiers at the 2025 OHSAA Division I Sectional Tournament, hosted by Saturday (February 22) by Euclid High School.

Senior Nathanial Shenberger was the Middies' top placer when he took runner-up in the 215 pound weight class. Seniors Aaron Cole (138), Gage Baribeau (144) and Cameron West (190) all placed third, while juniors Carrson Morris (126) and Marcus McMahon (157) and senior Makai Massey (285) each finished fourth.

Two Midview wrestlers, freshman Owen Costlow (120) and senior Thomas Kmitt (175), both finished fifth and will be district alternates.

Midview will continue its OHSAA Tournament trek at the Hoover District, which begins Friday (February 28) at 5 p.m. and will conclude Saturday (March 1) at 9 a.m.
