Midview Girls Golf sets new school record in 176-194 win over Berea-Midpark

Midview Varsity Girls Golf had a historic performance during a 176-194 Southwestern Conference victory over visiting Berea-Midpark High School Monday (September 8) on the front nine of Brentwood Golf Course.

The 176 total shots were a new nine-hole program record. The previous record was 178 and set on the same course against Elyria Catholic High School on August 22, 2023.

Senior Leah DiFranco led all golfers with a 38. Seniors Nina Ballachino and Olivia Keenan both added a 45, while senior Hunter Crum and sophomore Sophia Morgan and Kaylani Carrucini all contributed a 48.

The Middies (6-5, 4-5 SWC) visit North Ridgeville High School Wednesday (September 10) at Meadowood Golf Course in Westlake.
