DiFranco sets school record as Midview Girls Golf tops Columbia

Midview Varsity Girls Golf, fueled by a school-record performance from junior Leah DiFranco, defeated Columbia High School 184-229 Tuesday (September 17) on the front nine at Brentwood Golf Course.

DiFranco finished with a three-over par 38, which was two strokes better than the previous school record of 40 that she shared with Olivia Birth and Callah Bradley.

Senior Rachael Skolnicki added a 44 while senior Olivia Underwood and junior Hunter Crum both finished with a 51.

The Middies (7-10) take on Elyria Catholic Monday (September 23) at Grey Hawk Golf Club.
