Girls Golf wins over North Ridgeville but falls to Avon

Midview Varsity Girls Golf faced Avon High School and North Ridgeville High School in a Southwestern Conference tri-match for the second time in as many weeks and came away with the same outcome on Wednesday (August 21) afternoon. The Middies defeated the Rangers 187-193 while the Eagles won their match-up 177-187 at Brentwood Golf Course.

Junior Leah DiFranco shot a school-record-tying 40. Freshmen Sophia Morgan added a 48, junior Nina Ballachino had a 49 and junior Hunter Crum scored a 50.

The Middies (5-4, 3-4 SWC) are back in action Wednesday (August 28) when they play Olmsted Falls High School at Springvale at 2:45 p.m.
