Girls Golf splits SWC Tri-match

Midview Varsity Girls Golf opened the 2024 regular season with a tri-match against host Avon High School and North Ridgeville High School at Bob-O-Link Golf Course on Thursday (August 8) morning. The Middies posted a team score of 197 to defeat the Rangers (212) but lost to the Eagles (174).

The Middies (1-1, 1-1 SWC) were led by junior Leah DiFranco, who shot a 45. Senior Racheal Skolnicki added a 48, while juniors Hunter Crum and Olivia Keenan both contributed a 52.

Midview is back in action Monday (August 12) with a match-up against Avon Lake High School at Sweetbriar Golf Course. Tee-off is 9 a.m.
