Midview Track battles Avon Lake on Senior Day

Midview Track and Field played host to Avon Lake High School in a Senior Day Southwestern Conference dual on Wednesday (April 30) evening. The Middie boys won 8 of 16 events to defeat the Shoremen 68-59, while the Shoregals won 10 of 16 events to defeat the girls 83-43.

Midview won the Boys 4x800m Relay, the Boys 4x100m Relay and the Boys 4x400m Relay. Senior Sigurd Hansen won the 300m Hurdles and the Long Jump. Freshman Noah Brady won the 800m Run. Freshman Nathan Sooy
won the 200m Dash. Senior Logan Bier won the High Jump. 

The Middies also won the Girls 4x800m Relay and 4x400m Relay. Sophomore Madelyn Czellath won the 800m Run. Sophomore Jillian Hubbard won the High Jump. Sophomore Ava Hamm won the Long Jump. Senior Mkennzie Bennett
won the Pole Vault.

Midview is back in action Friday (May 3) when it competes at the Margaretta Invitational.
