Girls place third and Boys take sixth at Brookside Invitational

Midview Varsity Track and Field competed in the Brookside Invitational on Saturday (April 26) afternoon. The Middie girls placed third among 16 teams with 65 points, while the boys finished sixth with 59.5 points.

The Middies girls had six top-three finishers. Its 4x800m Relay took runner-up with a time of 11:08.40. Freshman Hannah Bacskay was third in the 400m Run (1:03.41). Junior Isabel Geyer placed runner-up in the Discus Throw (89-5.5). Junior Jillian Hubbard placed third in the High Jump (4-8). The Girls 4x100m Relay (52.07) finished second. Senior Mckennzie Bennett took third in the Pole Vault (8-0). 

In addition, the Boys 4x100m Relay (44.89) placed runner-up, and junior Lukas Kowalski took second in the Pole Vault (12-0). 

Midview returns home on Wednesday (April 30) for a Senior Day match-up with Avon Lake High School at 4:30 p.m.
