Olmsted Falls sweeps dual from Midview Track and Field

Midview Track and Field hosted Olmsted Falls High School in a Southwestern Conference dual on Wednesday (April 23) afternoon. The Bulldogs left with a 76-52 win in the boys competition and an 87-41 victory in the girls competition.

The Middies Boys won seven events. Junior Gage Weaver won the 100m Dash (11.27). Freshman Hayden Maxwell won the 800m Run (2:16.15). Senior Makai Massey won the Shot Put. Junior Jeffrey Wirth
won the Discus Throw. Senior Sigurd Hansen tied for first in the High Jump and then won the Long Jump. Junior Lukas Kowalski won the Pole Vault.

The Midview Girls captured first place in six events. Sophomore Cora Vance won the 100m Dash (!2.56) and 200m Dash (26.47). Sophomore Ava Hamm, sophomore Leah McKay, freshman Hannah Bacskay and Vance won the 4x100m Relay (52.0). Junior Isabel Geyer won the Discus. Hamm won the Long Jump. Senior Mkennzie Bennett won the Pole Vault.

The Middies are back in action Saturday (April 26) at the Brookside Invitational.
