OHSAA Port Clinton Regional Track and Field Information
What: OHSAA Division I Boys and Girls Track & Field Regional Championship
Who: Midview and the other Top 4 Individuals and Relays from the Amherst, Brunswick, Findlay and Clay Districts.
When: Wednesday (May 22) and Friday (May 24). Field Events begin at 4 p.m. Running Events start at 5:30 p.m.
Where: Port Clinton High School's True-Lay Stadium (601 W. Fremont Rd. Port Clinton, OH 43452)

Midview Qualifiers: Midview will have representation in 4 individual events and 3 relays at the Regional competition. Senior Erica Baldoza qualified for 3 events and will run in the 200m Dash prelims after finishing fourth at the District Championship. She will join sophomore Cameron Hostacky and freshmen Leah McKay and Cora Vance in running the 4x200m Relay and Hostacky, Vance and freshman Ava Hamm in the 4x100m Relay. The Middies placed third in both events last week. Senior Dylan Robinson will compete in the 800m Run on Friday. He qualified after placing runner-up at districts. Hamm will also compete in the High Jump on Wednesday after she placed fourth last week. Junior Nolan Roth will compete in the 110m Hurdle prelims on after qualifying fourth at districts. Senior Dane West, juniors Demarco Bates and Maxwell Kucera and sophomore Zachary Wallace will compete in the 4x200m Relay after placing third at districts a week ago.

Discus Parking:
Please note, the Discus competition is close to our Nord Middle School. However, the Nord Parking lot does not clear out until 4 p.m. Please park in the Stadium parking lot. Spectators can walk behind the back of the High School, past the tennis courts to reach the Discus competition.
Tickets: Tickets are sold online at http://ohsaa.org/tickets [Track and Field --> Division I --> Port Clinton] Adult tickets are $12 and students are $5. Cash sales only at the door. Gates will open at 3 p.m.
Spectator Information:
The Elementary School dismisses at 3:15 PM. Parents/Fans of Shot and Discus Competitors should NOT ARRIVE prior to 3:30 PM. If arriving at or after 3:30 PM they will be permitted to park behind our Elementary School right next to Shot and Discus. If they arrive before 3:30 PM, they will have quite a walk to get to Shot and Discus. No spectators are permitted inside the track. Spectators for Shot Put and Discus may bring a lawn chair, bleacher seating will be available.
Parking: General Parking, at no charge, will be available in two lots off of Rt. 53, Fremont Road: (See Map)
- Directly across from our Bus Garage
- On the East Side of the Stadium, to the North of the Visitors Stands
** Attendants will be available to direct you in both Lots.
Entrances: Spectators may enter the Stadium at one of Three Gates (see map).
- 6th Street – Across from Bataan Elementary School
- 5th Street – Adjacent to the Parking Lot on the East Side of the Stadium
- Rt. 53/Fremont Road – North of the Parking Lot across from the Bus Garage
Restroom and Concessions: Located in the Fieldhouse to the North of the Home Grandstands on the West Side of the Stadium.
What's at Stake: 4 individuals and 4 relay teams from each event AND the next TOP 2 times/heights/distances from around the STATE will advance to the OHSAA Division I Championship, which will take place May 31 - June 1 at University of Dayton's Welcome Stadium.
