Weber to swim in two events at OHSAA District Championship

What: OHSAA Division II Girls Swimming & Diving District Championship

Who: Midview High School freshmen Alyson Weber (100 Backstroke and 200 Freestyle) and 31 other qualifiers for each event.

Seeding Information: Weber is seeded third in the 100 Yard Backstroke after winning the University of Akron Sectional race and fourth in the 200 Freestyle after placing third at the Akron Sectional.

When: Friday (February 20) at 12 p.m.

Where: Cleveland State University's Busbey Natatorium (2451 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH 44115)

What's at Stake: The top 3 placers and 20 at-large qualifiers (taken from all districts) from individual events and top 2 placers and 16 at-large qualifiers (taken from all districts) from relays will advance to the OHSAA DII Championship, which takes place at the C.T. Branin Natatorium in Canton and begins with prelims on February 20 at 5 p.m. The Finals are on February 21 at 5 p.m.
