Henely finishes season at OHSAA Championship

Midview junior Reagan Henely now has a taste of what its like to compete on the OHSAA's biggest stage. The Middies' lone girls swimmer raced in two events at the 2025 OHSAA Division II Swimming Championship on Thursday (February 20) and represented the her school and community well with a pair of top 25 finishes.

Henely, who became just the second Middie to ever qualify for the state meet, begin her evening with a 22nd place finish in the 200 Yard Individual Medley after crossing the line in 2:15.29. She then finished 21st in the 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 5:28.77. Unfortunately, she needed to finish in the top 16 to advance to Friday's finals.
