Henely swims well to advance out of the OHSAA Division II Sectional

Midview junior Reagan Henely started her OHSAA Division II Swimming postseason wth a win and a third place finish at the Sectional Championship Friday (February 7) afternoon on the campus of the University of Akron.

Henely entered the meet with the top time in the 200 yard Individual Medley and backed that up by winning the race with in 2:16.87 to earn the automatic qualification to the upcoming District Championship. She also matched her seeding in the 500 yard Freesytle by posting a third-place effort with a time of 5:31.74. While only the top two finishers earn the automatic qualifying spots, she will almost certainly advance in that event as well.

The OHSAA Division II District Championship will be held Friday (February 14) at Cleveland State University. Action begins at Noon.
