North RIdgeville slips past Midview Softball 3-2

Midview Varsity softball dropped its third one-run game of the season when the Middies fell 3-2 to rival and host North Ridgeville High School on Wednesday (April 8) evening.

The Rangers jumped ahead 2-0 in the fourth. The Middies took advantage of an error to tie the game in the top of the sixth. North Ridgeville, however, answered with a single run in the bottom of the frame and then held on for the win.

Junior Savannah Presser finished with two of her team's five hits. Junior Savannah Holcomb (3-1) suffered the loss after allowing three runs on seven hits and striking out three.

The Middies (3-3, 1-1 SWC) will look to bounce back at Avon High School on Thursday (April 9) at 4:45 p.m.
