Olmsted Falls routs Varsity Softball 10-3

Midview Varsity Softball suffered a 10-3 Southwestern Conference road loss to host Olmsted Falls High School on Tuesday (April 22).

The Bulldogs did the bulk of their damage with a five-run third and three-run fourth against sophomore Savannah Holcomb. Holcomb (3-7) was charged with 10 runs (7 earned) on 13 hits with 5 strikeouts in six innings of action. The Middies collected seven hits, including three by freshman Jillian Vandersluis.  Junior Olivia Keenan hit a two-run home run in the second frame. Vandersluis added a RBI single in the sixth.

The Middies (3-7, 2-6 SWC) will look to respond at home Wednesday (April 23) when North Ridgeville High School visits for a game at 4:45 p.m.
