Midview Boys Tennis drops season opener 3-2 to Avon Lake

Midview Varsity Boys Tennis opened its season with a 3-2 Southwestern Conference loss to visiting Avon Lake High School on Monday (March 30) afternoon.

Senior Evan Kneisel picked up a 6-2, 6-7 (5-7), 10-4 win at third singles, while seniors Brayden Homoki and Trenton Popek earned a 6-2, 7-6 (8-6) victory at second doubles.

The Middies (0-1) visit North Olmsted High School for a non-league match Tuesday (March 31) at 4:30 p.m.
