Boys Tennis takes fourth at SWC Tournament

Midview Varsity Boys Tennis finished fourth at the 2025 Southwestern Conference Tournament, which concluded Monday (April 28) at Avon High School. The Middies collected 22 team points to finish behind six-straight champion Avon (39 points), runner-up Avon Lake (34 points) and third place Amherst Steele (25 points).

Senior Nicholas Hubbard placed third at first singles with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Amherst Steele in his final match. Sophomore Lila Booth took seventh at second single with a 4-1, 4-1 win over Berea-Midpark in her final match. Junior Evan Kneisel was fifth at third singles following a 4-0, 4-2 win in his final match. Senior Brett Sanzone and sophomore Ryan Quinn placed fourth at first doubles, while junior Trenton Popek and sophomore Gavin Tribby finished fourth at second doubles.

The Middies continue their season at Olmsted Falls on Tuesday (April 29) at 4:30 p.m.
